From 03 to 14 February 2012

DAY 1 – 03 Feb. 2012 – Beirut /Doha/Saigon

Meeting at Beirut airport at 01.00 early morning for departure to Saigon with Qatar airline At 03.10 arrival Saigon at 21.25 welcome at airport on arrival and transfer to hotel for check-in. Dinner and overnight in Saigon.

Day 2 – 04 Feb – Saigon

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to My Tho town (75km away / 2 hours’ driving) in the fertile Mekong Delta. Stop on the way to visit Tan Lap Pineapple Farm. Upon arrival in My Tho,boat ride on Mekong River to visit local people’s home and orchards on an island. Enjoy fresh tropical fruits of the season and a short hand-oared sampan ride on small canals. Boat ride back to My Tho town , later drive back to Saigon in the afternoon. Upon arrival in Saigon, visit the city’s bustling Chinatown with Thien Hau Pagoda. Dinner and overnight in Saigon.

Day 3 – 05 Feb. – Saigon /Da Nang /Hoi An

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Da Nang (currently scheduled by VN 324 / SGN – DAD / 09:30 ~ 10:40). Meet at the airport on arrival in Da Nang and proceed to Hoi An town Hotel check-in on arrival. Afternoon transfer to Da Nang for short sightseeing tour including a visit to the Museum of Cham Sculpture. Afterwards visit Marble Mountains on the way back to Hoi An.Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 4 – 06 Feb. Hoi An

Breakfast at hotel , A.M. visit the nice and peaceful Hoi An ancient town – another World Heritage Site of Vietnam – visit old houses, local market, Museum of Trading Ceramics, Chinese assembly halls and Japanese Covered Bridge. P.M. free Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5 – 07 Feb. .Hoi An /Hue

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Hue enjoying a short stop on top of Hai Van Pass where beautiful views of central Vietnam’s coastline are offered and passing by Lang Co Beach. Enjoy a boat ride on the picturesque Huong River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Afternoon visit to the former Imperial Citadel where royal palaces of the last dynasty of the feudal Vietnam – Nguyen Dynasty – remain.Continue visit Royal Tomb of Tu Duc King. The complex of palaces and monuments in Hue has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6 – 08 Feb. Hue/ Halong Bay

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Ha Noi (by VN 240 / HUI – HAN / 08:00 ~ 09:10). Meet at airport upon arrival and transfer directly to Ha Long where the wonderful Ha Long Bay is situated. Arrive at the boat quay in Ha Long and board the wooden junk for check-in. Enjoy Lunch with welcome wine on board. Begin boat cruise on the magnificent Ha Long Bay which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bay comprises of over 1,000 islets covering an area of 1,500 sq km. Overnight on junk in Ha Long.

Day 7 – 09 Feb. Halong Bay / Hanoi

Breakfast at hotel. Continue cruising on Ha Long Bay to enjoy beautiful lanscapes of the bay. Return to shore afterwards and pick-up for transfer back to Ha Noi with short visit to a ceramic workshop in Dong Trieu. Hotel check-in upon arrival and some free time afterwards. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 8 – 10 Feb. Hanoi

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (if open) and Ho Chi Minh Stilt House and One-Pillar Pagoda.Continue to visit Temple of Literature (which was founded in the 11th century and considered as the first university of Vietnam). In the afteroon visit Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy one-hour cyclo ride in the Old Quarter of Ha Noi , then enjoy the evening show of the spectacular Water Puppetry.

Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 9 – 11 Feb. Hanoi / Siem Reep

Breakfast at hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport for international flight to to Siem Reap arrival and transfer to hotel SOFITEL for check in dinner and Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 10 – 12 Feb. Siem Reep

Breakfast at hotel This morning start a visit Kravan, Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, Ta Keo, Thomanon and Chao Say Tevoda Temples. Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, Elephants Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King.Afternoon start a visit Angkor Wat and view the Sunset from Phnom Bakheng hill. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 11 – 13 Feb. Siem Reep

Breakfast at hotel. This morning excursion to Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre Temples.

Afternoon start a visit to Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup Temples.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12 - 14 Feb. Siem Reep/Doha/Beirut

Breakfast at hotel. This morning take boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake and visit the floating villages. Drive back, visit Siem Reap Town. Afternoon, transfer to Siem Reap airport for international departure flight for return to Beirut .
