Meeting at Beirut airport at 18h.00 P.M. to take flight to

Colombo at 20h20 via Doha.

 

28-DEC-2008 

Arrival and transfer from Airport to Colombo .Do a city tour of Colombo, Dinner and overnight at Cinnamon Grand hotel.

 

29-DEC-2008:

After Breakfast at Cinnamon Grand Colombo. Departure

to Dambulla , do an optional Elephant ride and continue to  visit the Dambulla rock temple  built in the 1st century B.C.and it is a World heritage Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. Then transfer from Dambulla to Kandalama for Dinner and overnight stay at hotel Heritance Kandalama.

 

30-DEC-2008:

After Breakfast at Heritance Kandalama. Transfer to Sigiriya. Climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site. Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral tairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster. Transfer from Sigiriya to Kandalama. Dinner and Overnight stay at Heritance Kandalama.

 

31-DEC-2008:

After Breakfast at Heritance Kandalama. Transfer to Matale, visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Transfer from Matale to Kandy. the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name "Kandy" conjures visions of splendour and magnificence,  Drive around the Kandy lake, Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum,also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. Thereafter witness a cultural show.  NEW Year Dinner and Overnight at Earl'S Regency .

 

01-JAN-2009:

After Breakfast at Earl'S Regency Hotel.Transfer to Peradeniya  botanical garden .It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers then departure from Peradeniya to visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced, return to Kandy for dinner and overnight stay at Earl'S Regency Hotel.

 

02-JAN-2009:

After Breakfast at Earl'S Regency Hotel departure to visit Pinnawella elephant orphanage and then continue to Colombo for dinner and overnight stay at Cinnamon Grand Hotel

 

03-JAN-2009:

After Breakfast at Cinnamon Grand. full day at leisure or visit to Negambo Beach Or Mount Lavania beach Overnight stay at Cinnamon Grand Hotel

 

04-JAN-2009   :    

After Breakfast at Cinnamon Grand Hotel Transfer from Colombo to Airport for
