SRI LANKA  -  9 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS – weekly departure

 

 

Day 1: Beirut/Doha ( or any othr Company)

Meeting at Beirut airport  to take the flight  to  Colombo

Day 2 – Colombo/Kandalama:         

Arrival transfer clients from Airport to Kandalama - Rest of the day at Leisure 

Dinner and overnight stay at Heritance Kandalama.

Day 3 – Kandalama – Sigiriya – Dambulla   :

After Breakfast at Heritance Kandalama. departure to Sigiriya Climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress

which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual

beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. After this visit continue to Dambulla rock temple  built by

king Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a World Heritage Site.  It is the most impressive of

Sri Lanka's cave temples.  The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and ceilings,

is the largest area of paintings found in the world. Return to Kandalama for Dinner and overnight stay at

Heritance Kandalama.

Day 4 – Kandalama / Kandy:

Departure from Kandalama to Matale. Visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri

Lanka is famous for. Here, clients could see different spices the continue from Matale to Kandy  the last

capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. Drive around the Kandy lake built by the last

Sinhala king, visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, Thereafter witness a cultural show.

Dinner and overnight stay at Earl'S Regency Hotel or similar .

Day 5 : Kandy

After Breakfast . Visit  Peradeniya botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and

was expanded by the British.  It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and

flowers. Then departure to visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is

produced. Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is

graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Return to Kandy for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – Kandy / Colombo

After Breakfast , departure  to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975, visit it  and continue to

Colombo, city tour of Colombo and the dinner and overnight hotel Cinnamon Grand or similar

Day 7 – Colombo / Negambo

A.M. ; free in Colombo for shopping till 16 .00 P.M. then departure to Negambo for  dinner and overnight

At  Beach Hotel Grand Jetwing  or similar

Day 8 – Negambo

Day free on the beach for own activities. Dinner and overnight hotel

Day 09 – Negambo/Beirut

After breakfast transfer to airport for return to Beirut

 

Price Per Person  on B/B Basis in USD valid till end of April 09  :       = 790,-

Above prices include

- Accommodation in 5* and sup.4* hotels standard room on Bed and breakfast  basis for 7 nights

  (Half board supplement 160 USD,- )
